NAPA (NATIONAL AUTO PARTS ASSOCIATION), a subsidiary of GPC (Genuine Parts Company), was founded in 1925 in the United States of America and has since evolved into America’s leader in the after-market auto parts business. In the U.S. there are 6200 NAPA AUTO PARTS stores, 56 Distribution Centers, and more than 9000 affiliated NAPA Auto Care repair facilities
NAPA is currently the market leader in the Caribbean, with multiple stores throughout the Caribbean islands and growing increasingly into the Latin American market.
In Bonaire, NAPA was established in 1986 and has since worked to become a household name and market leader on the island. The store started very small, sharing space with another store, and has since outgrown both spaces and expanded to the back with a complete tire and oil service, servicing all kinds of automotive, truck, shop, and heavy equipment tires. Even though we still only have 1 store to service the island we have grown to offer more diversity to its customers.
In 2000, we merged with NAPA Curaçao to create an inner island automotive network that would offer more parts and better and faster service for the people on both islands.
As we continued to grow in the market, we decided to add NAPA Aruba into the group in 2004 to make the automotive network even more significant, better, and more robust.
